TGoV - Episode 14 - The Truth of Dig 17
In the words of Legitimate, half-elf paladin to... someone?
played by Ethan Sproat
Tis a dark day when one turns his back on his gods, but the manifestation of Ghubrak the Giant has given me a new sense of purpose, and I fear I must abandon the sky deities Yados and Beleya to fulfill my destiny as a paladin. We have yet to wake the sleeping behemoth, but in the meantime, we helped Thalian recover two more hexagonal keys, though Grisk and Odrak accidentally sprung a poisoned dart trap. This leaves only one more key before we can open the puzzle door beyond Ghubrak’s bower.
We also undertook the rescue of Krustov from the pit in the lower caverns. There, he befriended two prisoners, Inre Dovo the aasimar and Varis the elf, both of whom have pledged their… well, shackles… (because they don’t have swords) to the tiefling in exchange for freedom. He also managed to bribe a dragonborn guard named Raleph, though there now seems to be a secret shared between them. To help us free the prisoners, Fleeda cast a cloaking spell to mask our approach, and we battled Yorinn, the dragonborn quartermaster who commanded two guard drakes. We slew one drake and forced the other to retreat while I decapitated the quartermaster to seal our victory. Fleeda reunited with her father Yunstag who was captured months ago by the Gatherers. According to Raleph, a Cloudscape supply ship will arrive on the morrow, a vessel which could return us to the clouds if we so choose. However, I am no longer sure my fate leads me skyward. I have discovered too much here under the mountains of the Bonelands.
